It has been a while, but still I should note that it is the beginning of a trend of changing attitude of Apple towards secrecy. Posted by Ole Begemann (noting the ambigiuty of the term "public reviews").
Section 10.1 Information Deemed Apple Confidential” of the iOS Developer Program License Agreement:
Further, Apple agrees that You will not be bound by the foregoing confidentiality terms with regard to technical information about pre-release Apple Software and services disclosed by Apple at WWDC (Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference), except that You may not post screen shots, write public reviews or redistribute any pre-release Apple Software or services.
What the developer cannot do: post screen shots, write public reviews, or redistribute pre-release Apple Software or services. It would be interesting to know wheter the term "review" has been defined in the Agreement. Otherwise it can be ambiguous for blog posts beyond simple impressions.
